CAS Products help Hitachi/Depot Rail to keep the train wheels turning!

Keeping train wheels clean and turning is a vital job and one that Hitachi turned to CAS Products to help with. Compressed air is used to blast clean the wheels and, in the process, prolong their life span.

 New Worthington Energy Efficient Compressors of various sizes were fitted at three sites in London, Swansea and Bristol. The installation included duty/standby compressors, receiver, desiccant dryer, filters and oil/water separator, all fully automated and controlled via the customers computer system.

 A five year, 24/7 service and maintenance package gives the customer peace-of-mind with our experienced engineers always on standby, ensuring that once again they are delighted with the installation and back up cover they receive from CAS Products – the fifth such installation that we have carried out for Hitachi/Depot Rail, with a further two to be completed later this year in Ireland.
